Ghana's Inflation Decrease to 45.0


Ghana recorded 52.8 percent in the month of February 2023. 

The inflation rate has drop in the month of March, (Ghana month) to 45.0. Percentage of 7.8 has decrease from February.

This was recorded in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) information released by the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) .

The data released by GSS indicate that, food inflation stood at 50.8 and non-food inflation at 40.6.


Professor Samuel Kobina, Government Statistician, said the Western North has recorded the highest inflation with 67.3 in the regional level.
